New Delhi (24.01.2025): Seven days ahead of the superannuation of Raj Kumar (IAS: 1987: GJ), the government of Gujarat announced Pankaj Joshi (IAS: 1989: GJ) as the next Chief Secretary of the state w.e.f. 31.01.2025. Joshi has service terms till October 31, 2025.Currently, Joshi is working as Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister of Gujarat. Until now, Gujarat CMO has two ACS including Pankaj Joshi and Manoj Kumar Das (IAS: 1990: GJ).It may be underlined that prior to becoming Gujarat CS Raj Kumar served at Centre as Secretary, Department of Defence.
