Annoyed CM orders transfer of four IPS; Major goof up in PM’s programme
Four IPS officers in Madhya Pradesh, including an Inspector General of Police and a Deputy Inspector General have been transferred over what MP Chief Minister Mohan Yadav called “regrettable public conduct”. DIG (Chambal) Kumar Saurabh (IPS: 2007: MP), IG (Chambal) Sushant Kumar (IPS: 2007: MP) and SP, Datia, Virendra Kumar (IPS: 2012: MP). Katni SP Abhijeet Ranjan (IPS: 2012: MP) has been another officer transferred to the Police Headquarters (PHQ), Bhopal.

IRS officer manhandled three months after a friendly match:-
A day after being assaulted in office by a joint commissioner, a deputy commissioner-level officer Gaurav Garg (IRS: 2016) accused the senior colleague Yogendra Kumar Mishra of attacking him over a three-month-old dispute related to a departmental cricket match. An FIR was registered at Lucknow's Hazratganj police station on last Friday over the incident, which allegedly also involved a strangulation bid.

CBI arrests an IRS officer in bribery case:-
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested top Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer A K Singhal (IRS), Additional Director General, Directorate of Taxpayer Services, and one other person "for demanding and accepting a bribe of ₹25 lakh. A case was registered by the CBI on May 31 against the accused on allegations “that Singhal demanded illegal gratification of ₹45 lakh from the complainant in exchange for extending favourable treatment from the Revenue/Income Tax Department.
