Gokhale, Vyas to hold meetings with French Foreign Secretary

Raisina Dialogue, Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale will hold bilateral meetings
with his French counterpart Maurice Gourdault-Montagne who is Secretary-General
(Foreign Secretary) of France's Ministry of Europe and foreign affairs. K. N. Vyas, Secretary, Department
of Atomic Energy and Chairman, Atomic Energy Commission, will also hold
separate meetings with the French Foreign Secretary. Gourdault-Montagne, along with
Admiral Christophe Prazuck, Chief of the Naval Staff of France, will also
participate in high-level Dialogue panels to review and assess the strong
strategic partnership between India and France, particularly in the Indian
Ocean Region (IOR). On Thursday Maurice
Gourdault-Montagne will participate in the Dialogue’s concluding panel of the
2019 edition entitled “The Road to 2030: Challenges, Partnerships and
Predictionsâ€, along with Gokhale.
