The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet on Tuesday cleared the appointment of twelve board-level positions in Central PSUs. This includes three CMD/MD level posts as follows: M V Subba Rao (Director, KIOCL) appointed to the post of CMD, Kudremukh Iron Ore Company Limited (KIOCL). Rao was selected for the post in November 2017. Saumendra Kumar Barua (Director, NRL) as appointed as MD, Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL). S N Pandey (ED, IOCL) appointed to the post of Managing Director (MD), Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL). He was selected for the posts in October 2017. In addition, nine Director-level appointments were also cleared as follows; Prakash Tiwari (GGM, NTPC) appointed as Director (Operations) NTPC Kadattur Ranganathan Vasudevan (GM, PPL) appointed as Director (Finance), Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL). Chintan Navinbhai Shah (President, BD, Suzlon Energy) appointed to the post of Director (Technical), Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA). Shailesh Kumar Mishra (ED, PGCIL) appointed to the post of Director (Power System) in Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI). G. Aravindan (GM, CPCL) appointed to the post of Director (Operations), Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL). Savari Muthu Charles (Director, Finance, DCIL) appointed to the post of Director (Finance), Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC) Ram Prakash Srivastava (ED, RINL) appointed to the post of Director (Personnel & IR), Coal India Limited (CIL). Ranjan Kumar Srivastava (ED, PGCIL) appointed Director (Finance), POSOCO. Sanjay Maheshwari appointed to the post of Director (Finance), Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizers Corporation Limited (BVFCL).
