Former RAW officer Satish Kumar Bharadwaj is all set to join New Delhi Municipal Council as Administrative officer / A. A.Collector on deputation basis. Reportedly, Kejriwal administration had shunted him immediately after he joined as Secretary to Delhi Vidhan Sabha Speaker in July 2015 as part of a game-plan to cut short Speaker's influence and to install AAP supported personnel.
Prior to his current assignment Bharadwaj, known for his effectiveness and human skills, served with several Speakers of Delhi Vidhan Sabha namely; Prem Singh, Yoganand Shastri and M S Dhir. Previously he served as PS to K.H. Muniyappa, former Union MoS for MSME and also as PS to former Union Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh. He brings with him the experience of serving with Cabinet Secretariat as well.
