BHUBANESWAR (26.05.2026): Former Odisha Chief Secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena (IAS: 1989: OD) on May 25, 2026 resigned from the post of Chairperson of Odisha Electricity Regulatory Commission (OERC) triggering speculations over circumstances leading to his exit. The resignation of Jena has been accepted who had been appointed as the OERC chief on March 28, 2025, after retiring from service as the CS of the state on 28.06.2024. The sudden resignation has raised eyebrows.
