2137New Delhi (10.12.2021): A forum of former IAS officers has recommended Nobel Peace Prize to Sanyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM). In a special meeting of the core committee convened by Swaran Singh Boparai and Rameshinder Singh, patrons of the forum remembered the fearlessness of farmers and praised their unity and discipline. The Forum, an organization of former IAS, IPS, Army, and other civil society people congratulated leaders of Morcha, farmers, and others, who contributed to the 'andolan' in any manner unprecedented success. It was also decided that the Forum would continue its work in the future to improve the lives of the people of the countryside. Expressing the sentiments of all the members of the forum, the Core Committee recommended the Nobel Peace Prize for the Sanyukt Kisan Morcha for its unique role in protecting the future of the country's over 50 percent working peasant population.
