A special court in Delhi on Friday convicted former coal secretary H C Gupta in a coal scam case.
The court also convicted then joint secretary Kuljeet Singh Kropha (IAS:1982:AM) then director Kailash Chand Samaria (IAS:1993:AM)in the coal ministry and others involved in the case. Chartered accountant Amit Goel has been acquitted.
