The NaMo administration on Thursday granted Apex Scale to five DG rank IPS officers serving in Govt of India namely;
A K Patnaik (IPS:1983:GJ), CEO NATGRID; Sudhir Pratap Singh (IPS:1983:RJ), DG NSG who currently holds the additional charge of DG, RPF; Ms Rina MItra (IPS:1983:MP, Special Secretary (IS) MHA; S K Sinha (IPS:1983:BH), Special Director, Intelligence Bureau and O P Singh (IPS:1983:UP), DG, CISF).
It may be noted that the Govt of India last year had settled the matter amicably by declaring that 11 senior most IPS officers would be getting Apex Scale irrespective of the matter of posts.
