As Indianmandarins had reported first on July 07 (web-link below) the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet on Wednesday cleared the empanelment of 18 officers to hold GM rank (for 2017-18 panel) posts in India Railways. Four senior officers too were were empanelled to hold General Manager and Equivalent posts in theZonal Railways. Having cleared the empanelment three vacant posts of GM may soon be filled which have been lying vacant for months.
