Five IAS officers promoted as Special Secretary at Centre

Five senior IAS officers were promoted on Wednesday to the Secretary-rank (in-situ) post and designated them as Special Secretary. They are Alok Srivastava (IAS:1984:MP), Rajiv Kumar (IAS:1984:JH), A B P Pandey (IAS:1984:MH), Ms Malini Shankar (IAS:1983:MH), and Ms Reena Ray (IAS:1984:UT).
Currently, Alok Srivastava is serving as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Shipping; Rajiv Kumar as Establishment Officer & Additional Secretary, DoPT; and Pandey is CEO, UIDAI. Similarly, Ms. Malini is DG, Shipping, whereas Ms. Ray is Additional Secretary, Ministry of Human Resource Development.
