Chandigarh (23.06.2025): An FIR has been registered by Jalandhar police against woman IAS officer Babita Kler and her husband Stephen Kler in a matter related to firing by her gunman. Babita Kler is presently posted as Commissioner Agriculture. It is alleged that she had ordered gunman Sukhkaran Singh to open fire in a matter related to a dispute over a plot adjacent to her residence. Constable Sukhkaran Singh was arrested.
