With the appointment of former Union Urban Development Secretary Madhusudan Prasad (Retd IAS:1981:HY) as Member, PESB, the search engine of CPSEs has completed its strength once again. Prasad will serve as Member PESB up to June 2019. The PESB comprises of a Chairman and three members. A member's post had fallen vacant on 04 April 2016 after R Gopalan (Retd IAS:TN) completed his tenure as PESB Member. Having attained its strength, the CPSEs' search engine now is made up of Chairman Ajit Kumar Seth (former Cabinet Secretary) and three members namely; Ms. Gauri Kumar (former Union Labour Secretary), Anshuman Das (former NALCO CMD) and Madhusudan Prasad. The Board will continue to have these four faces till 23 November 2016 when PESB Chairman Seth will attain 65 years of age. By then, the PESB will get one more new face and all the faces of PESB would continue till August-September 2019.
