New Delhi (27.12.2023): If some well-placed sources are to be believed the incumbent CMD of Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL) A P Panda will hang his boots today despite having four years in hand to superannuate. Panda’s five years term completes today. Reportedly, having over four years in hand to attain superannuation age Panda would have been in the office till 31.08.2027. Sources say that Samiran Dutta, CMD of BCCL, is being given the additional charge of CMD, ECL. Reportedly, he may be mandated to work as ECL’s interim chief for reasonably longer period. Dutta has over two years in hand to retire i.e. 31.08.2025.
