As many as seven posts of directors and one post of CMD in Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) will fall vacant by January 31. The CPSEs to be affected are BEML, HAL, BCCL, UCIL, MCL, MRPL, TCIL & CIL.
C N Durgesh, Director (Mining & Construction Business), Bharat Earth Movers (BEML), will superannuate on January 31. Durgesh took over as Director on 18 March 2011. The PESB selected his successor on July 30, 2015.
On January 31, A K Mishra will superannuate as Director (Finance) Hindustan Aeronautics, Ashoke Sarkar as Director (Tech), Bharat Coking Coal, S K Srivastava as Director (Tech), Uranium Corporation of India, and P C Panigrahi as Director (Personnel), Mahanadi Coalfields. Besides, Vishnu Agrawal will superannuate from the post of Director (Finance), Mangalore Refineries & Petrochemicals and B K Saxena will mark his concluding day in the service of Coal India as Director (Marketing).
The one CMD retiring on December 31 is Vimal Vakhlu who took over as CMD of TCIL on 16 December 2011.
