New Delhi (24.02.2025): Days after Gyanesh Kumar (Retd IAS: 1988: KL) assumed charge last week as the new Chief Election Commissioner, the Election Commission of India (ECI) announced to organize a conference of Chief Electoral Officers of States and Union Territories on March 4-5, 2025 at the India International Institute of Democracy and Election Management (IIIDEM) in New Delhi.
Three-member panel, led by CEC Gyanesh Kumar, includes Sukhbir Singh Sandhu (Retd IAS: 1988: UD) and newly election EC Vivek Joshi (Retd IAS: 1989: HY), will further the vision and steer the action plan during the two-day conference.
Over 100 participants, key functionaries of election processes, including CEOs of all States/UTs, DEOs, and EROs will brainstorm and learn from each other’s experiences during a two-day conference.
