Indianmandarins has reliably learnt that Balesh Kumar (IRS C&CE:1987)
may be appointed as regular Director General of Directorate of Revenue
Intelligence (DRI). He was empanelled last week to hold Principal Chief
Commissioner level post in CBIC. It may be underlined that following the retirement of Debi
Prasad Dash on 31.07.2019 the NaMo administration had on 01.08.2019 assigned Balesh
Kumar with the additional charge of DGRI. Presently, he is DG, DGGI (North) and holding the additional
charge of DG Human Resource Management (DGHRM), CBIC.
