New Delhi (28.03.2026): The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) on Saturday recommended the name of Dr Ashok Kumar Panda for the post of Chairman & Managing Director, Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), a leading Public Sector Undertaking (PSU). A total 10 candidates were interviewed. Subject to requisite clearances and ACC approval, Panda will be the new CMD after tenure of Amarendu Prakash ends on 31.03.2026. Currently, he serves as Director (Finance) with additional charge of Director (Commercial), Steel Authority Of India Limited (SAIL).
