New Delhi (30.08.2024): If informed sources are to be believed Manisha Saxena (IAS: 1996: AGMUT) may be appointed as Establishment Officer in the Department of Personnel & Training (DOPT). She was appointed as Additional Secretary in DOPT in the first week of this month. Prior to this she worked as DG, Tourism in the Ministry of Tourism for over seventeen months. The next EO will succeed Deepti Umashankar (IAS: 1993: HY) who will proceed to President House as Secretary to the President of India. The post of assignment is considered crucially important as the Establishment Officer also functions as Secretary to the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet.
