Railway Board on April 30 issued an appointment order of Hira Ballabh (IRAS:1993) for the post of Director (Finance), Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL) on absorption basis for a period of five years. He served Financial Adviser and Chief Accounts Officer (FA&CAO) in Northern Railway Railway Board. After PESB could not make it, it had recommended to the administrative ministry/department to choose an appropriate course of further action for selection. Further, a Search-cum-Selection-Committee headed by Union Cabinet Secretary Rajiv Gauba had selected and recommended his name for the post of Director (Finance) DFCCIL. Reportedly, Naresh Salecha, the erstwhile Director (Finance), relinquished the charge today whereas Ballabh is yet to assume charge at DFCCIL
