Karnataka has transferred over 12 IAS officers were transferred indicating continuing pulls and pressures within a rickety HD Kumaraswamy administration. 

 

According to an order issued by the state Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms Under Secretary on Saturday, Commissioner for Public Instruction P C Jaffer is transferred and posted as Secretary (Expenditure), Finance Department. Simultaneously, he will also hold the charge of Managing Director of Karnataka State Beverages Corporation Ltd, Bengaluru.

 

The order said Ekroop Caur, Secretary Expenditure, is posted as Secretary (Budget and Resources), Finance Department and will hold the additional charge of Managing Director, Karnataka State Finance Corporation, Bengaluru.

 

The order places IAS officer Parmesh Pandey as Additional Chief Secretary to the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (Janaspandana), while incumbent Rajkumar Khatri is posted as Additional Chief Secretary Revenue the concurrent charge as Additional Chief in charge of Disaster Management, Bhoomi and  UPOR in the Revenue Department.

 

The Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms has seen the appointment of V Manjula as an additional secretary who will also function as Additional Chief Secretary to Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms ' wings of Administrative Reforms, Training and Political Pensions.

 

The Forest, Ecology and Environment Department is given Sandeep Dave as Additional Chief Secretary who will also function as Additional Chief Secretary to the Infrastructure Development Department.

 

J Ravishankar, Secretary Housing is transferred as Managing Director, Krishna Bhagya Jala Nigama Limited, Bengaluru and replaced by Harsh Gupta.

 

R Girish, Executive Director, Karnataka Examination Authority, Bengaluru is transferred as Deputy Commissioner, Chitradurga District. He has replaced R Vinoth Piya who has been transferred with immediate effect as Commissioner, Labour Department. He will get the assistance of P Manivannan who is posted as secretary to the labor department.

 

P Hemalatha has been posted as Secretary to the Department of Women and Child Development and Empowerment of Differently Abled Senior Citizens Department.

 

The Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs and Legal Metrology Department is given Salma K Fahim as a secretary with immediate effect and until further orders, she may function also as Managing Director, Karnataka Food and Civil Supplies Corporation Limited (KSFCSC), Bengaluru. Ziyaullah, Managing Director, Belagavi Smart City Corporation Ltd, Belagavi goes away as Director, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Bengaluru.
