Deshmukh (IPS:95) to replace Anand as JS, Parliament Security

Indianmandarins has learnt that Yogesh Deshmukh's (IPS:1995:MP) name may shortly be moved by MHA to ACC for ratification for the coveted job of Parliament Security Service chief (a Joint Secretary rank post). Reportedly, the Lok Sabha Secretariat cleared his name on Thursday and sent it to Home Ministry.
Subject to ACC approval, Yogesh Deshmukh (currently posted in Railway Board as Director, Vigilance) may replace Ajay Anand (IPS:1992:UP) as Joint Secretary, Parliament Security Services. Deshmukh is also empanelled for posting as IG (Govt of India) (since August 14, 2015).
