New Delhi (31.08.2023): As Indianmandarins had reported earlier (21.08.2023) the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has appointed Manish V Desai (IIS: 1989), as Principal Director General, PIB. Currently Desai is working as Director General, Central Bureau of Communication (CBC).

Further, Dhirendra Ojha (IIS: 1990) was appointed as Director General of Central Bureau of Communication (CBC). Ojha replaces Manish V Desai. Prior to this Ojha was looking after the post of Press Registrar in Registrar of Newspapers in India (RNI), New Delhi. 

As per the latest orders issued by the Ministry of I&B Bhupendra S Kainthola (IIS: 1989) has been made the Press Registrar of Registrar of Newspapers in India (RNI), New Delhi; a post which Dhirendra Ojha looked after as additional charge.

In addition to his new role as full-fledged DG of CBC Dhirendra Ojha has been assigned the additional charge of New Media Wing (NMW) and Electronic Media Monitoring Centre (EMMC).
