New Delhi (09.08.2024): Delhi LG V K Saxena has given his approval for the prosecution of Udit Prakash Rai (IAS: 2007: AGMUT) for allegedly forging signatures of three chief secretaries of two Union Territories on his annual performance appraisal reports.LG has also recommended the case to the Ministry of Home Affairs for further action. Udit Prakash Rai allegedly forged the signatures of his reviewing authority -- chief secretaries of Andaman and Nicobar and Delhi -- between 2017 and 2021. A criminal case of forgery has been registered against Udit Prakash Rai at the IP Estate Police Station on the complaint of Special Secretary (Vigilance) of Delhi government.
