3383 New Delhi (09.04.2022): The competent authority in the Delhi administration has assigned additional responsibility or relieved from the present assignments to the following IAS officers. They are: Praveen Kumar Gupta (IAS: 1989: AGMUT) Additional Chief Secretary (GAD) with the additional charge of Urban Development and Director Local Bodies has been relieved from the additional charge of Urban Development and Director Local Bodies. Sanjeev Khirwar (IAS: 1994: AGMUT) Principal Secretary (Environment and Forest) with the additional charge of Principal Secretary (Revenue)-cum-Divisional Commissioner has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary (UD) and Director (Local Bodies) with the additional charge of Principal Secretary (Revenue)-cum-Divisional Commissioner. A section of insiders looks at this development as a prelude to the appointment of the next Chief Secretary of Delhi; a coveted post for which PK Gupta is considered among serious contenders including others.
