New Delhi (19.12.2025): The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended the appointment of Bombay High Court judge Justice Revati P Mohite Dere as Chief Justice of the Meghalaya High Court. The Collegium also recommended the appointment of Kerala High Court judge Justice A Muhamed Mustaque as the Chief Justice of the Sikkim High Court.
The recommendation was made during the Collegium's meeting held on December 18, 2025, where it proposed the elevation of five High Court judges as Chief Justices of different High Courts across the country. The recommendation was made by a Collegium headed by Chief Justice of India Surya Kant.
