Chaturvedi selected for director post in ONGC Videsh Ltd.

The public sector headhunter on Friday selected Girija Shankar Chaturvedi for the post of Director (Exploration), ONGC Videsh Limited.
Currently he serves as General Manager, Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Limited.
Subject to requisite clearances Chaturvedi will replace the outgoing Director (Exploration) Sudhir Sharma set to retire in September this year.
Altogether seven candidates appeared for the selection interview namely Tarun Shah (GM, ONGC Ltd.); Girija Shankar Chaturvedi (GM, ONGC Ltd.); Puneet Suri (GM, ONGC Ltd.); Krishna Kumar Gupta (GM, ONGC Videsh Ltd.); Rajesh Kumar Srivastava (GM, ONGC Ltd.); H Madhavan (GM, ONGC Ltd.); and Mrs. Barnali Barua Tokhi (Sr. VP, BPRL).
