Hyderabad (14.12.2023): Once considered powerful, high profile IAS officer in the state for her say in KCR led Telangana Government, 2001 batch IAS officer Smita Sabharwal states on X that she was ready for any new assignment in Telangana government. She was secretary to the then CM. 

She further clarified on X: I see some news channels have reported a fake news that I am going for central deputation. It is totally false and baseless. I am ready for a new challenge. It is considered that she is readying herself to take up new assignment under the Congress government in Telangana. 

It may be underlined that many IAS officers were envious of her high profile assignment during the previous regime. But she is looking forward for new posting under the new government.
