New Delhi (01.11.2024): Three IRS officers were appointed (In-situ) to the grade of Chief Commissioner of Income Tax (CCIT) (level 16 in the pay matrix) for the panel year 2024:As notified all three would continue to hold the charge of the post (presently held) till their formal posting.It may be underlined that Prabha Kant is retiring this month whereas SS Jha and Arun C Bharat will be retiring in August 2025 and September 2026 respectively. New Delhi (01.11.2024): Three IRS officers were appointed (In-situ) to the grade of Chief Commissioner of Income Tax (CCIT) (level 16 in the pay matrix) for the panel year 2024:
- Sudhanshu Shekhar Jha (IRS IT: 1991)
- Prabha Kant (IRS IT: 1991)
- Arun C. Bharat (IRS IT: 1992)
As notified all three would continue to hold the charge of the post (presently held) till their formal posting.
It may be underlined that Prabha Kant is retiring this month whereas SS Jha and Arun C Bharat will be retiring in August 2025 and September 2026 respectively.
