New Delhi (20.02.2023): The Centre has appointed Nitin Deep Blaggan (IPS: 2003: RJ) to the post of Joint Director in CBI on deputation basis. He will have an overall tenure of five years i.e. up to 08.10.2024.Blaggan served as DIG, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The 2003-batch IPS officer of Rajasthan cadre, Blaggan is serving in the CBI since October 2019. Prior to this charge at CBI, he was posted as DIG, SOG, Jaipur.In another order, the deputation tenure of Viplav Kumar Choudhry (IPS: 1997: JK), Joint Director, CBI was extended for a period of six months beyond 27.09.2022.
