New Delhi (17.05.2025): The two clever by half Congress made it clear that it did not give the name of former Minister of state for External Affairs Shashi Tharoor to head one of the delegations out of seven to be sent to various countries exposing Pakistan on terror attacks in India. It gave names of Gaurav Gogoi, Raja Brar, Dr Syed Naseer Hussain and Anand Sharma but the government choose Shashi Tharoor instead. Tharoor was recently reprimanded for toeing government’s line. But the Congress now faces devil and the deep-sea situation where if it accepts silently the government move, the message will go that the decision was right but if it opposes its image of a cry-baby will be emboldened. Other leaders included Ravi Shankar Prasad (BJP), Baijayant Panda (BJP), Sanjay Kumar Jha (JD-U), Shrikant Eknath Shinde (Shiv Sena), Supriya Sule (NCP) and Kanimozhi Karunanidhi (DMK).
