Lucknow (07.02.2022): The last hope for Lok Sabha MP from Allahabad Rita Bahuguna Joshi has dashed out as the BJP did not consider the name of her son for this Assembly, however, she offered to resign her Lok Sabha seat. But such tactics don’t work in the BJP. Now, she will have to wait for the 2024 Lok Sabha election if the BJP considers him as her mother’s replacement. Despite the fact that there are a sizable number of Pahadi voters on Lucknow Cantt seat and huge Brahmin population in Allahabad (north), the BJP preferred sitting MLA and grandson of Rajendri Kumari Bajpai in Allahabad North. Brijash Pathak is contesting from Lucknow Cantt.
