Bengaluru (01.08.2023): Shantanu Roy, on Tuesday, took over as CMD, Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML) BEML Limited. Prior to this he worked as Director, Mining & Construction Business, BEML and played a key role as Additional GM (International Operations)-Marketing at BHEL. He succeeded Amit Banerjee who retired yesterday (31.07.2023). With over three decades of diverse experience in the capital goods industry, he has demonstrated expertise in defense, mining, construction, transportation, and renewable energy sectors. Roy holds an Electrical Engineering degree from NIT Raipur and an MBA in Financial Management. As CMD of BEML Roy may have a fairly long tenure up to June 2029.
