The public-sector headhunter on Tuesday selected Polavarapu Mallikarjuna Prasad for the post of Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of Bharat Coking Coal Ltd; a post presently lying vacant. Presently, Prasad is Director (Planning & Projects), Northern Coalfields Ltd.

Surprisingly, of five Board-level positions three are lying vacant including CMD post.
