believed Tarun Bajaj (IAS:1988:HY) may be shifted (laterally) from Prime Minister’s
Office (PMO) to Department of Financial Services with a mammoth task of cleaning
up the NPA and NBFC mess which threatens to engulf markets. Currently he serves
as Additional Secretary in PMO. Bajaj, considered
a bright officer, is known for his industrious tenure with PMO. He was
appointed Joint Secretary in PMO on April 01, 2015 and was further promoted as
Additional Secretary (in-situ). He was, on 26 September 2018, granted
pro-forma promotion to Chief Secretary grade in cadre state of Haryana.
