As Indianmandarins had reported earlier the newly appointed Shivraj Singh Chauhan Government on Wednesday relieved M Gopal Reddy (IAS:1985:MP), the incumbent Chief Secretary. The Govt announced the appointment of Iqbal Singh Bains (IAS:1985:MP) as interim Chief Secretary till the appointment of a regular incumbent. Bains replaces his batchmate Reddy whom Kamalnath Govt had picked last week as Chief Secretary.
