New Delhi (29.12.2025): In a significant leadership
transition slated for India's skilling landscape, Arunkumar Pillai is all set
to take charge as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Skill
Development Corporation (NSDC) on January 02, 2026. He will succeed Ved Mani
Tiwari. His appointment comes at a critical juncture as the
organization undergoes a "NSDC 2.0" overhaul to strengthen corporate
governance and expand international skilling corridors. Previously, he served
as the Chief Strategy Officer at NSDC and as the Founder Director of NSDC
International. Arunkumar Pillai, an alumnus of IIM Bangalore and the
College of Engineering (Pune), is a seasoned leader with nearly 30 years of
experience across the public and private sectors, specifically in Technical and
Vocational Education and Training (TVET), higher education, and policy design. Before his selection and appointment as CEO, he served as
the Director General & CEO of NAMTECH (New Age Makers' Institute of
Technology).
