New Delhi (30.01.2024): Notifications of appointments and recommendations issued on Tuesday are as follows
  • Extension in down gradation of the post of Saurabh Kumar Tiwari (IP&TA&FS: 1993) from Additional Secretary to the level of Joint Secretary in the Direct Benefit Transfer Mission for the term up to 10.12.2025.
  • Extension in upgradation of the post of Praveen Vashista (IFS: 1991: BH) from Joint Secretary to the level of Additional Secretary in Department of Home up to 14,01,2025.
  • Extension in upgradation of the post of Sunil Paliwal (IAS: 1993: TN) Chairperson, Chennai Port Authority from the level of Joint Secretary to that of Additional Secretary for a term up to 15.09.2024.
  • Extension in upgradation of the post of Sandip Pradhan (IRS IT: 1990) Director General, Sports Authority of India, Department of Sports. Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports from the level of Joint Secretary to Additional Secretary up to 30.09.2024.
  • Extension in upgradation of the post of Arvind Shrivastava (IAS: 1994: KN) Joint Secretary to the level of Additional Secretary in Prime Minister’s Office up to 24.03.2025.
  • Tenure of Manish Kumar Garg (ITS: 1994), Director in the National Intelligence Grid under the ministry of Home Affairs, was extended for a period of two years i.e. up to 27.01 .2026. He counts his central deputation w.e.f 28.01.2019.

  • Extension of R Lakshmanan (IAS: 2004: BH), Joint Secretary, Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways, was extended for a period of two years.

  • Tenure of Richa Misra (IDAS: 1996), Joint Secretary & Financial Advisor, Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation, was extended for a period of one year.

  • Tenure of Subrat Kumar Pradhan (IES: 2008), Director in the Department of Higher Education, was extended for a period up to 16.03.2026. He counts his central deputation w.e.f 18.05.2018.

  • Makrand Deoskar (IPS: 1997: MP) was appointed as Inspector General in Border Security Force (BSF) for a period of five years.
