New Delhi (29.09.2025): Notifications of appointments and recommendations issued on Monday are as follows:
  1. Harish Kumar Kallega (IES: 2013) has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Higher Education for a period of four years.
  2. Heera Lal (IRS C&IT: 2015) has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Higher Education, Delhi for a period of four years.
  3. Samarth Verma (IAS: 2011: OD) has been appointed as Director in the Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways, Delhi for a period of five years.
  4. Reema Jain (IES: 2013) has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Defence, Delhi for a period of four years.
  5. Saurabh Shukla (IA&AS: 2005), Director, PMO, has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Prime Minister's Office (PMO) for a period up to 19.10.2026. 
  6. Tenure of Saurabh Kumar Tiwari (IP&TA&FS: 1993), Additional Secretary, Direct Benefit Transfer Mission, Cabinet Secretariate, has been extended up his superannuation i.e. 30.09.2027.   
  7. Sachindra Kumar Patnaik (IRSS: 1997), Executive Director (North Zone) (JS level), Food Corporation of India, Noida, has been prematurely repatriated to his cadre.
  8. Tenure of Chetan Prakash Jain IRPS (1995), Joint Secretary & Financial Adviser (JS&FA), Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, has been extended for a period up to 16.12.2026.
  9. Sufiyah Faruqui Wali (IAS: 2009: MP) has been appointed as General Manager (Region) (at Director level), Food Corporation of India (FCI), Bhopal for a period of three years.
  10. Tenure of Ashish Gupta (IRSME: 2014), Deputy Secretary in the Department of Rural Development, has been extended for a period of two years beyond 30.12.2025 and up to 30.12.2027.
  11. Tenure of Mrithinjai Srikanthan (IRS C&IT: 2013), Deputy Secretary, Department of Expenditure, has been curtailed.
  12. Tenure of Naval Kishor (IOFS: 2003), Director in the Department of Revenue, has been extended for a period of one year i.e. 28.10.2026.
  13. Tenure of M Beena (IAS: 1999: KL), Development Commissioner (Handlooms), Department of Development Commissioner (Handlooms), Ministry of Textiles, has been extended for a period of one year i.e. up to 03.10.2026.
  14. Dr Pramod Kumar Meherda (IAS: 1997: OD), Additional Secretary, Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (DoAFW), has been ex-post facto entrusted with additional charge of the post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO), National Rainfed Area Authority (NRAA) for a period of six months with effect from 15.07.2025. He was given the responsibility on cancellation of appointment of Anil Kumar Singhal (IAS: 1993: AP).
  15. Tenure of Juhi Mukherjee (IAS: 2007: AGMUT), Joint Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs, has been extended for two years beyond 13.10.2025.
