New Delhi (28.10.2025): Notifications of appointments and recommendations issued on Tuesday are as follows:

• Tenure of Shashank Mani Tripathi (IAS: 2015: AGMUT) has been curtailed as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs under the Central Staffing Scheme. Tripathi has been appointed as Officer on Special Duty to the Minister for Home Affairs Amit Shah at the level of Deputy Secretary for a period up to 30.08.2028.
• Rajesh Aggarwal (IAS: 1989: MH), Secretary, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, has been repatriated to his parent cadre on the request of Government of Maharashtra.
• Tenure of Dr Himanshu Roy (IRS IT: 2011), Director in the Department of Pharmaceuticals, has been extended for a period of 3 months beyond 15.10.2025 and up to 15.01.2026. Dr Himanshu Roy is on central deputation w.e.f. 05.09.2023.
• Rajesh Lakhani, IAS (TN:92), Commissioner, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, Department of School Education and Literacy, has been entrusted with additional charge of the post of Director General, National Testing Agency, Ministry of Education for a period of one year.
• Tenure of Smita Srivastava (IRSEE: 1997), Joint Secretary, Department of Higher Education, has been extended for a period of one year beyond 29.07.2025.
