as Private Secretary to the Minister of State for Coal & Mines Satish
Chandra Dubey in the Ministry of Coal for a period up to 30.03.2028. Akhilesh Kumar (IPS: 2005: UP), DIG, CISF, has been promoted
as Inspector General, CISF. Additional
charge of Manoj Kumar (IRS IT: 2003), CVO, Jawahar Lal Nehru Port Authority
(JNPA), Mumbai, has been extended for a period of six months w.e.f. 03.01.2025
or till disinvestment of SCI.

- The tenure of Tapan Kumar Deka (IPS: 1988: HP) as Director, Intelligence Bureau was extended for a period of one year beyond 30.06.2025.
- The tenure of Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary, Ministry of AYUSH, was extended for on a period of one year beyond 28.06.2025 i.e., upto 28.06.2026, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, on existing terms and conditions.
- Tamboli Ayyaj Fakirbhai (lAS: 2009: CG) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat, for an overall tenure of 5 years upto 20.03.2029. Currently, he is Director, Cabinet Secretariat. He replaces M S Srikar (lAS: 1999: KN) who was recently appointed as Joint Secretary in PMO on lateral shift basis.
