- Muktanand Agrawal (IAS:2008:RJ) was appointed as Director in the Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare for a period upto 29.02.2024 (i.e. till G-20 Secretariat is functional). His tenure may be extended further.
- The central deputation tenure of Pramod Kumar Tiwari (IAS:1991:AM, currently working as DG of Bureau of Indian Standards, was extended beyond 24.10.2022 for a period up to 23.05.2024 or until further orders whichever is earlier.
- The central deputation period of Sanjiv Kumar (lAS:1992:UT), Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, was extended for one year i.e. up to 08.11.2023.
- S Kishore (lAS:1989:WB) has been re-appointed as Chairman of the Staff Selection Commission in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India on a contract basis for a period of one year beyond the date of his superannuation (31.01.2023) i.e. up to 31 .01.2024.
- The tenure of temporary upgradation of the post of Director, Special Protection Group, presently held by Arun Kumar Sinha (IPS:1987:KL), to Director General level was extended till his superannuation i.e. 31 .05.2023.
- The Central deputation tenure of Mukesh Lal (ITS:1996), Joint Secretary (Director level) in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), was extended for a period of one year beyond 25.11.2022 and upto 25.11.2023. Lal counts his central deputation tenure w.e.f. 26.11.2016.
- Jitendra Singh Raje (IAS:2007:SK) was appointed as Director in the Department of Economic Affairs for a tenure up to 29.02.2024 (i.e. till G-20 Secretariat is functional). Raje’s tenure may be extended for a period upto 01.06.2024 or until further orders, whichever is earlier in waiver of the requirement of mandatory "cooling off" period.
- Aman Jain (IOFS:2009) was appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Consumer Affairs for a period upto 17.09.2024, (i.e. combined tenure of four years including ex-cadre post and CSS post).
