New Delhi (17.02.2026): Notifications of appointments and recommendations issued on Tuesday are as follows:-
Tenure of Nirmod Kumar (IRSSE: 2006), Director in the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, has been extended for a period of two years beyond 22.02.2026 and up to 22.02.2028. He is on central deputation w.e.f. 23.02.2021.
Tenure of Prabhat Kumar (IAS: 2011: JH), Director of Census Operations (DCO)/Director of Citizen Registration (OCR), Jharkhand, has been extended for a period beyond 31.03.2026 and up to 09.10.2027. He is on central deputation w.e.f. 10.10.2022.
Tenure of Rajesh Gupta (IRSEE: 2001), Joint Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs, has been extended for a period of two years beyond 15.04.2026.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Home Affairs for waiving of "cooling off' period for central deputation in respect of Sadanand S Date (IPS: 2007: UK), in relaxation of IPS Tenure Policy.
P Hemalatha (IAS: 2000: KN), Development Commissioner, SEZ, Cochin, has been entrusted with ex-post facto additional charge of the post of Chairman, Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA), Cochin.
