Anantapur (20.02.2023): The Andhra Pradesh government has accepted the VRS being availed of by Somesh Kumar (IAS: 1989: AP), who was the chief secretary of Telangana before being shifted to Andhra Pradesh. Although he reported to the Chief Minister following court directions, he was not allotted any post all these days.He was not interested to continue in service though it ends in December. Kumar, who is close to Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, has worked in various positions including as Anantapur collector. Kumar will decide his future as he has several offers on hand, including working as Secretary to the Telangana government.
