The Govt of India, on Wednesday (April 03, 2019) announced the appointment of Anwar Haleem as the next Ambassador of India to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Presently he is Senior Directing Staff (Joint Secretary level post) in the National Defence College.

He is expected to take up the assignment shortly.
