Anil Wadhwa (lFS:1979) has been appointed as the next Ambassador of lndia to the Republic of ltaly. Currently he is serving as Secretary(East) in the Ministry of External Affairs.
Wadhwa will succeed Basant Kumar Gupta (IFS:1979) the incumbent Ambassdor of India to Italy. He is expected to take up his new assignment shortly.
