Vijayawada (18.05.2022): The Andhra Pradesh government enacted a major reshuffle of IPS officers They included:

• L K V Ranga Rao (IPS: 2004: AP) has been posted as IGP, welfare and sports.
• S V Rajasekhar Babu (IPS: 2006: AP) has been transferred and posted as DIG, OCTOPUS.
• P H D Ramakrishna (IPS: 2006: AP) has been posted as DIG, Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB).
• K V Mohan Rao (IPS: 2006: AP) has been posted as DIG, training.
• S Hari Krishna (IPS: 2006: AP) has been given full additional charge of DIG, coastal security.
• Gopinath Jatti (IPS: 2008: AP) has been posted as DIG, greyhounds and also in the full additional charge of the post of IGP, legal until further orders.
• Dr Koya Praveen (IPS: 2009: AP) has been transferred and posted as commandant 16th battalion, APSP, Visakhapatnam.
• Vishal Gunni (IPS: 2009: AP) has been placed in full additional charge of superintendent of railway police, Vijayawada.
• M Ravindranath Babu (IPS: 2015: AP) has been given full additional charge of 3rd battalion, APSP, Kakinada.
• Ajitha Vejendla (IPS: 2015: AP) has been given full additional charge of superintendent of railway police, Guntakal.
• P V Ravi Kumar has been shifted from ACB to vigilance as SP.
• G Krishnakanth (IPS: 2017: AP) has been transferred as additional SP operations, Rampachodavaram.
• P Jagadeesh (IPS: 2017: AP) has been posted as additional SP Chittoor.
• Tuhin Sinha (IPS: 2017: AP) has been posted as additional SP, admin, Narasaraopet Palnadu district.
