An IAS officer removed after gold smuggling controversy

1234Kerala IT Secretary M Sivasankar (IAS:1995) has been removed as Secretary to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan due to the gold smuggling controversy, where the role of a former woman employee of the IT department is being probed. Mir Mohammed (IAS:2011) has been an additional charge in place of Shivshankar.
