Ad hoc arrangement continues in the Ministry of Law & Justice

New Delhi (05.02.2024): The New Delhi establishment on Monday late evening assigned the additional charge of the post of Secretary, Department of Legal Affairs to Dr Rajiv Mani (lLS), Secretary in the Legislative Department, till the appointment of a regular incumbent or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Interestingly, hardly had the ad hoc arrangement in Legislative Department came to an end with the appointment of Dr Rajiv Mani as Secretary on January 09, 2024 the ad hoc arrangement began in the Department of Legal Affairs which fell vacant after Dr Niten Chandra (IAS: 1990: OR) was moved last week from the Ministry of Law & Justice to Ministry of Defence as Secretary, Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare.
