ACC clears the appointment of six Joint Directors (We said it on 18 Jan)

As Indianmandarins had reported first on January 18 (see web-link) country's premier investigative agency (CBI) on Wednesday got six joint directors. Of six, three were freshly inducted as Joint Director whereas three officers elevated (in-situ) from DIG to Joint Director rank posts. Accordingly; Ajay Bhatnagar (IPS:1989:JH), Praveen Sinha (IPS:1988:GJ) and Pankaj Kumar Srivastava (IPS:1992:MP) were appointed as Jt Director whereas Sharad Aggarwal (IPS:1997:UT), Gajendra Kumar Goswami (IPS:1997:UP) and V. Murugesan (IPS:1997:UK) were promoted from DIG to Jt Director rank in CBI.
Currently Bhatnagar serves as IG, CRPF; Sinha is Additional Secretary in CVC and Srivastava is posted in cadre state of MP.
